A Seasoned Perspective
Following a Christian ministry career of over forty years, Pastor Tom Crow is now serving the greater community of church and non-profit leaders throughout the United States.
Tom began ministry serving in the military chaplains service (Reynolds Army Hospital, Fort Sill, OK) of the United States Army, for three years. Following seminary, Tom served in Sandia Baptist Church, Albuquerque in Christian education and evangelism role, helping the church experience and integrate explosive growth and constructing adult education space.
Christian education, and executive leadership roles in Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee over thirty-five years allowed Tom to provide training, staff development, church leadership developing multiple construction projects and programmatic changes (over $40 million value). He provided solutions to complex suburban and urban settings for staff enlistment, employment, provided fund raising assistance, human resource leadership, capital and financial campaigns and facility utilization.

Executive Pastor at Historic First Baptist Church, Nashville, TN
Thirteen years - Provided leadership addressing creative and lasting solutions to Christian outreach in dynamic and changing downtown setting for FBC. Developed complex solutions to constructing and funding $34 million new construction, 80,000 square feet complex on Broadway. Led $6 million update and remodeling of aging facilities for modern uses, on cash basis, placing the church in a debt-free position of ministry.

15+ years - Leading church into historic growth in downtown Charlotte, employing and equipping staff members, enlarging church facilities, leading historic church membership growth while leading the church to a healthy, debt-free position for ministry.

Seven years - Integrating, mentoring and equipping hundreds of seminary students while helping the church adjust to changing community and preparing for future ministries in multi-site international ministries.

Four years - Developed and led Christian education pathway for explosive growth and leadership training. Guided church into construction of new adult and administrative space providing for their future fifty years. Engaged in evangelism reaching Albuquerque NE heights area for Christ. Provided evangelism and discipleship leadership to reach hundreds of men, women and students to faith in Jesus Christ.
Veterans’ and Law Enforcement Outreach
A U.S. Army Veteran, Tom has a passion for encouraging Veterans in their personal life and direction. For over fifteen years, he led veterans outreach ministries and Reboot/First Responders programs focused on supporting Veterans and first responders address PTSD and related personal strengthening around the country. He hosted multiple army reunions for World War II Veterans from his father’s unit, even taking the 214th Military Police unit to Normandy, France…Omaha Beach 60th anniversary.
Tom spearheaded a partnership with local law enforcement officials during his ministry in Nashville, TN. Crow formed an extensive support system under-girding community law enforcement officers including a First Watch 24/7 prayer support for police officers, police memorial services, governors service of remembrance for crime victims’ family members, and men’s ministry support meals for members of local law enforcement multiple times annually.
Outdoorsman Experience
Tom has loved the great outdoors from an early age. He grew up camping fishing with his dad on Oklahoman and Canadian waters, and has passed his love for wide open spaces on to his own children as well as countless young men through annual men’s ministry trips in Montana wilderness.
